Smashed trout at Sea Wolf on the way to jetties!
This is one my July trips to the Galveston Jetties! The water was green, incoming tide, with a south wind about 5 to 10...We decided to stop off at Sea Wolf Park on the way and try our luck, conditions looked promising. We were throwing poping corks with live shrimp and hooked up on the first cast. We consistantly landed large trout for about an hour and a half. We were at the tail end of the tidal movement and it really slowed down. Later on at the boat cut we picked up a few more trout, mostly bait stealers though...A few hardheads even! Great day overall...Keep checking my blog and I will update on my trips and conditions..etc...
